Skier Chris Prosser finds fresh powder on the Summit at Falls Creek today after fresh snow fell overnight. The forecast is for further snowfalls across the weekend continuing into next week. The resort has an average base of 85-100cm with all areas open. All 14 ski lifts are running this week with great conditions for the start of August.
Winter 2014 keeps on delivering the white magic. Falls Creek saw another 10-15cm of fresh snow overnight with a further 50cm+ of new snow projected this week, snow depths could be rocketing to the best conditions in a generation. Skier Sam Perry was enjoying fresh turns today in the frosted snow gums at Falls Creek.
A powerful cold front has once again lashed the state bring snow to Ballarat & dumping a motherlode of dry powder snow the Alpine Resorts. Tom Costa was lapping up the epic snow conditions today at Falls Creek as the resort was dumped on with 20cm of fresh snow. Temperatures dipped to a chilly minus 3.5 degrees C. More snow is expected at the resort in the next 3 days, with generation best snow conditions
